Blueshirts Look To Plow Through The Kings & Even The Series
The blueprint for success has already been outlined. In Game 1 though, the Rangers came off the throttle and finished a disheartening loss playing on their heels. That can’t happen tonight. The way NY took it to LA in the first period Wednesday night needs to be duplicated for a full 60 minutes if they plan to even the series. Skate north-south & cash in on their speed advantage. Pepper Jonathan Quick and make him turn away pucks from every angle. Pressure the Kings into turnovers. As the underdog, tonight’s the night to leave absolutely everything on the table. Going down 0-2 to a team with a pedigree like the Kings have will really put a wrinkle in the whole “bring the Cup to Broadway for the first time in 20 years” strategy. I honestly don’t think the Blueshirts are gonna let that happen…and 50 Cent agrees with me. Kinda.
